> Good for you....he probably knows all the tricks....but, if you like garlic toasted bread, you can ask for it.....an appetizer that is great is Galatoire Gouté (3 portions of a shrimp rémoulade, a crabmeat salad, and a crawfish salad), a great salad is the Godchaux Salad..., DON'T ASK FOR A MENU, IF YOUR WAITER BRINGS ONE, DON'T OPEN IT, just ask the waiter what he likes today....if you want fish, ask what fish is best today, pompano is a favorite, trout is always good, sautéed, with a little lump crabmeat (ask how the crabmeat is first)....if you like soft shell crabs, that's a good choice, fried....I think I remember that you don't eat oysters, but the Oysters Rockefeller are great....for desert I often ordered an ice cream sundae, vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and crushed walnuts on top....OK, ask if Harold is in, he is their longest serving waiter, from Ville Platte, 45 years or so...his son Billy also is a waiter, tell Harold I send my warmest regards....ask to see Jon (or John, don't know which), he the shortest waiter there, ask him for his latest joke, and have one ready to tell him.....of course you want to eat downstairs, which means, normally, someone has to get in line early (only 70 seats downstairs, when they are gone you are out of luck, you can have someone stand in line for you, Hunter will know how to work that)......that should get you started, if you have any questions, call me....and let me know how it goes.

MLS report shows Sales though August 2009 average sales price of $172,921 end of August 2010 $146,789 or 15% decline then August 2011 average price was $163,014or 11% increase this just cannot be right. I am looking at the report thinking it is year to date and then realize it is sales in August only so be careful how you read accurate data. What does connect with this report is in rapides parish we had 95 sales in August 2011 and 82 in 2010 and 85 in 2009 so pace for One month has improved.
